This self-paced course introduces gender mainstreaming: what it is, where it comes from, and how it works in practice. Across six short lessons you will explore why gender inequality is structural, what the strategy of mainstreaming means, the mandates and frameworks behind it, its guiding principles, intersectionality, and good practice. A final assessment lets you check your understanding.
